I highly recommend using Bay Area Stump Busters. Steve (the owner) is honest, offers a fair price, and stands behind his work. What more could you ask for?
We had 5 very large stumps (and their roots) that needed to be removed on a multi-tiered rear yard. This job was challenging and about half the companies we contacted said it was too difficult because of the steep slope.
Right off the bat the communication and responsiveness was great with Bay Area Stump Busters. Steve gave us a fair estimate with a comprehensive explanation of the scope of work. On top of that, he was able to start the next week. After the job was done we walked the area and I paid him. What impressed me is that even though he was already paid, he came back 2 weeks later to remove more roots that weren't visible (until I removed the mulch). Now that's standing behind your work!
Overall this is one of the best experiences I've had with a service. Give Steve a call if you're considering removing a stump or roots. It's worth every penny. -
